Your argument is NOT ridiculous at all. Yes, all this time the Rohingya were being oppressed, and no Muslim country did anything to warn Myanmar about it, and this includes Pakistan.
In Pakistan's defense, we have had the most rotten to the core, governments in power for the past few decades. These politicians had no remorse gutting the country's economy, as it was already reeling from the "War on Terror." When governments have not a care in world about its own citizens who are imprisoned in abject poverty. What expectations could anyone have of these demonic politicians of offering any help to Muslims minority of another country?
Now however, the people of Pakistan and the military of Pakistan have backed and elected Imran Khan, into power. And Imran Khan takes Pakistan's well being VERY SERIOUSLY. Imran Khan is not someone whom you would want to mess with. He is has an overwhelming and powerful support of majority of Pakistanis. And the moment he was sworn in as Prime Minister. Khan''s government has gone to task on destroying corruption that has plagued Pakistan for so many decades.
It is only now, with Khan's government in power, had Pakistan's foreign policy taken a strong and independent direction. And even though China supports Myanmar, and the fact that JF-17 Thunder is a joint venture project of Pakistan and China. Khan's government has shown independence in foreign policy.
Allies and enemies alike, would only respect you, when you as a nation and leadership of a nation, stand firm on your principals of being just, honest and one who fights for the weak and oppressed. Both for your own people and for Muslims around the world.
