Why doesn't the JF-17 have a HMD ? Why wasn't that part of the block II upgrade ? China has been installing HMD's on their own fighters for more than a decade now. The J-10, J-11 and even some of the J-7 variants have HMD's installed. So the technology is available for the JF-17.
