Japan has always had advanced military technology. Historically, their Corporations like Mitsubishi, Kawasaki etc. have researched/developed/acquired technology and built military aircraft (Zero Fighters), aircraft carriers etc. Unlike other countries, the Japanese do not boast or reveal their secrets, unless to show their deterrent "tit-bits" - a typical Samurai belief. My hunch is that there could be more Japanese military "tit-bits", which would be revealed when deemed fit.

Here is the actual vid, an exclusive by TBS Hodotokushu.

Sounds like the Chinese and Japanese military industrial complexes have more in common than they care to admit.

Which part?
That it has two vertical tails and engines?

LOL, that too. The location, shape, and/or proportion of the nose, cockpit, engine intakes, wings, and landing gear all hint at F-15 influence. It makes sense since Mitsubishi produced around 200 F-15s and the type is the backbone of the JASDF.

also as this is a technology demonstrator. I think I read somewhere that the cockpit glass is taken from a F15J as is the landing gear.
