I am particularly inspired by the american chinese pilot instructor 2nd from left. To go from being discriminated in grade school for being white to being a chinese top gun. Everyone should look up his story. Richard I. BongIs This Real?

Today, I came across some discussions about the J-35A on Chinese social media. Some people believe that the Chinese Air Force will only purchase a symbolic number of J-35As for export purposes. They even suggest that the decision by the Chinese Navy and Air Force to select the J-35 and its derivatives was "coerced" by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation. I don’t quite understand the hostility these individuals harbor toward the J-35A, to the point of fabricating unfounded and outrageous conspiracy theories.
Frankly, these opinions leave me quite puzzled. At least in my view, the J-35A is very important for the full stealth transition of the Chinese Air Force. It can help gradually replace relatively outdated early fourth-generation fighters. Additionally, based on information I’ve seen on the SDF forum, the production capacity of the J-20 seems to have reached Chengdu's limit. Therefore, the production of the J-35A should also help accelerate the fleet modernization process for the Chinese Air Force.
Moreover, the J-35A appears to be a relatively low-cost fifth-generation fighter. It seems likely that the J-35A will serve as a platform akin to the F-16 within the Chinese Air Force's fifth-generation fighter lineup. If so, it should also help keep operational costs manageable for the Chinese Air Force.

I’m really glad that no such crazy guy have appeared on SDF.It’s just silly tribalism.

Indeed, especially considering that the Chinese Air Force still has hundreds of J-10 series fighter jets, I even believe that the future production of the J-35A could rival that of the F-35A.The J-35A will serve as a really valuable addition to the PLA. Like:
- superior A/G strike capabilities compared to the J-20
- superior stealth (it genuinely has potential to be the stealthiest 5th Gen ever)
- etc.
All that while with most of the J-20's capabilities with a noticeably lower cost and manufacturing time. It's a promising platform.
Thanks a lot for all your effort in keeping the discussion environment of the forum healthy. There were a few but they were banned I think.
