That's just the undercoat primer

We can see parts of it visible at the join at the wing's trailing edge flaps.

EOTS still covered but certainly EODAS there. Perhaps 1 or both are what the US would call EMD aircraft rather than LRIP.

There is a possibility J-35A is not fully equip as J-20 does to keep the cost down.
J-35A's role and doctrine in PLAAF still yet to see.

This prototype was just spotted now. You can clearly see the EODAS windows

However, multiple problems arise. It features a completely different approach to the horizontal stabs, and completely different engine nozzles.


And no, it's not an unpainted version from the one yesterday. The serration and petals are completely different.
