J20 used to go to airshows/photoshoots with EOTS/IRTS covered the same way in its early days:

I don't think it's a mock up here

As for EODAS, I'm not so sure. Could simply be covered as well?

It definitely has EOTS/IRST. I would be surprised if it doesn't have EODAS, but I guess we'll have to wait more to see this one for sure.
Of course J-35 have EODAS, even DJI Air has EODAS.

Yankee and co. said in the podcast and the stream that J35A will be an important piece in PLAAF's stealth and anti-stealth system.
I would be surprised if EODAS turned out to be the thing they decided to cheap out on, even if Yankee said don't be surprised if it's lower spec than the naval version, given EODAS's importance for maintaining awareness advantage against older gen and hold its own against other 5th gen.

All modern cars have EODAS, EODAS is cheap, and you can literally see the EODAS apertures in the photos under paint/cover, this whole discussion is redundant.

If we really want to speculate on sensors, having a quantum radar inside the EOTS could be considered important for anti stealth, same goes for the massive apature on KJ-700's nose sensor, but that's for another thread.

I think people speculating that J-35A won't have an EO-PDS system are jumping the gun a bit.

Ultimately it will be operational units with operational serials that are going to represent what a properly fitted out aircraft is, regardless of the idea that this airframe may or may not supposedly being a service ready aircraft.

With picture quality we can see housings consistent and panels consistent with where you'd expect an EO-PDS system to be mounted just like J-20, so just give it a while until we see the first few operational J-35As and everyone should have their answer.
