I wonder, is there a source to this?
I can't find where I read it from. But it is something like this:

Gotta say, just by looking at what the original news piece from AVIC says, we can’t definitely say that this newly assembled plane IS the J-35. Because the team name contains “Luo Yang” (former chief designer of J-15 who passed away in 2012) it’s reasonable to assume this project is linked with the navy, but it can still be something like a LRIP J-15B or J-15D, etc. IMO a bit too early to start discussing it as if we know for a certainty it’s J-35.I can't find where I read it from. But it is something like this:
The task force itself can be loosely translated as "Luo Yang Communist Party Member Commando". Its a Task force founded at Shen Yang (where Luo Yang belongs) to commemorate the late Luo Yang, who is being regarded as a party/Shen Yang hero who gave his own life finishing the J-15 project (died of myocardial infarction after J-15 successfully landed on Liaoning). Shen Yang even erected a statue for Luo Yang and the Task force member has oath to emulate his spirit etc. It doesn't mean that this task force is only bound to J-15 project.Gotta say, just by looking at what the original news piece from AVIC says, we can’t definitely say that this newly assembled plane IS the J-35. Yes I realize that this task force is not necessarily working on a J15 variant. I was suggesting that we also don’t know for sure if they’re working on the J-35, and thus it’s perhaps unwise to start discussion and make claims while assuming that’s the case, which is what previous posts have been doing more or less. The task force itself can be loosely translated as "Luo Yang Communist Party Member Commando". Indeed a great artwork, but I'm sure the typical usual suspects will soon post it as real

Hi DeinoIMO unlikely … the 2023 deadline for the Fujian is IMO not a given fact, it is likely but far from sure and I really cannot think that they immediately start with catapult trails off the carrier. So, most interesting will be, when will we see the J-35 for the first time at Huangdicun and only after a decent period of treating there off-land, I expect they start with trails off the carrier.
