This one looks like it has a fixed horizontal stabilizer and just uses 2d tvc for pitch? They modelled the control surfaces on wings and vertical stabs but the horz stab seems one piece.

It’s just a model and probably not that well made, don’t look too much into these things, and it most definitely won’t abandon the use of horizontal stabs in favor of pure tvc for pitch control

Another perspective. Im sure this cockpit sim is from the j35, It doesn't match the j20 cockpit silhouette.

Just because it is a generic looking "modern fighter" cockpit that isn't J-20, doesn't necessarily mean it's for J-35/XY.

We've seen multiple such cockpit renditions at Zhuhai and other tradeshows before, as just general technology displays.
It doesn't necessarily mean they are the actual representative cockpit of an actual aircraft.
So I wouldn't get too excited.

Besides it's not like the J-XY/35 cockpit will be anything that's too new.
We know it has a wide angle lightweight HUD, and will almost definitely have a wide area display, and maybe a smaller display beneath it as well. There's only so many ways to arrange it.

Chances are none of these displays are actually for J-XY/35 -- but at the same time, the J-XY/35 cockpit will likely look very similar to it.
