I believe that is just a picture of the F-22's weapons bay with AIM-120s inside. Notice how the rear fins are cropped. (The weapons bay isn't that big anyway... It shouldn't be a surprise of J-20 has a similarly sized one)
Though I think the J-20 should have a similarly sized weapons bay, if they can make the diameter of PL-12 a little smaller.
Could be a model... of an F-22's bay, not J-20's.
Well let us hope that the J-XX has a larger one then... To be fair the body of the J-XX is a bit longer so there should be more room.
J-20 also has a slightly thinner fuselage... But should be able to fit 6 PL-12s (if the wings can fold or are cropped) in the central weapons bay.

That is surprising. You know it says something when you hear everyone trying to make the J-20 out to resemble everything from the kitchen sink to their mother's uncle. They're pointing to non-5th gen aircraft to say it was copied. If it were that easy to turn a lesser gen aircraft into a 5th, then anyone that can build an aircraft would be able to do it. They just don't want to accept that China stepped up where it counts that its 5th gen aircraft is an indigenous design that they can't say was copied from someone else.
Ok now for pilot selection. I think only the cream of the crop of PLAAF gets to fly this bird (only the very best of USAF gets to fly F-22 so no surprise there). Do you guys think that the first J-20 pilots (when it is in service, not test-flight pilots) will be selected from J-11 pilots or J-10 pilots?
