Well done, latenlazy! But I think this part is too important to skip: "4S一个都不能少，海军司令下达的直接指标就是超音速巡航下的隐身战机." That is: The naval stealth fighter must meet all 4S criteria.

This is because we had before heard from big shrimps, such as PUPU, that the naval version doesn't have to be 4S and the 31001 prototype appears to confirm this notion.

Scissors, actually! The whole idea of resin impregnated fiber is that its easy to form and shape to any configuration and then all you need to do once its cured is to trim away the small amount of excess, thats how they achieve all those gorgeous shapes. It is a quantum leap from hand hammered aluminum speed cowsl of the 30s, but it will never surpass them in sheer elegance, nor will it ever completely replace the metals in certain applications, but it is awsome, and it can be beautifull when handled by an artist, and I have to admit that hand laid carbon fiber finished with the cloth grain exposed is quite strong and beautifull!

Under ambient conditions it really depends on temp and humidity, in fact on bicycle repairs they "vacuum bag it", to keep humidity out, as another poster mentioned the best scenario is the auto claves, where temp and humidity can be completely controlled, then you have a very uniform cure and are talking hours, not days. The other advantage is that you can control the cure to achieve the specific properties you desire in the finished product. Brat
