It just says the J-20 is powered by WS-10B.

I think it's consistent with what huitong mention, he mention the engine is an up thrust engine of WS-10A but with shorter lifespan for prototype testing. As oppose to what many say that it just an AL-31 engine fitted with silver petal. Why would PLAAF continue use AL-31 engine with lower thrust on J-20 when they have brand new higher thrust WS-10A (132KN) engine used on J-16 prototype?

WS-10B thrust might be close to 140KN of thrust allowing clean mode super cruise with half tank full. The fact that we seen J-20 doing some acute turn and difficult move suggest it powered by some higher thrust engine than AL-31.

I have suspected that myself, particullarly when 2001 didn't fly for some time after the new year, I suggested engine change out, and you are right the J-20 gets off the ground quickly and does make some very steep turns with no sweat.

As for the J-2002 also having gone to Yanliang, I think it's just the stupid editors at ifeng.com who was at it again: Making a mistake about a belated video made by Goodboy about the J-2001 leaving for Yanliang...

Wow! I just hope that they at CCTV really knew what they were talking about! If they do, there are more goodies confirmed in this clip other than the WS-10B engines:

1. 100 KW AESA.

2. FBL

Wow!

I don't put much stock in CCTV military shows :p

Banned Idiot
100 kilowatt of poweroutput.,only a AWACS can generate that kind of output, not fighter radar.

This first came out like nine months ago and was discussed to death, they pretty much repeated information gathered on the web, there is zero backing to those claims.

Well, I hope not, we in the J-20 fan club need to be kept informed, and frankly kids, Sino D is part of the Chengdu viral marketing, I still like this airplane a lot with its funky Batplane kool factor, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the F-60 end up being the premier Chinese air-superiority fighter. I guess we can agree that shes powered by the WS-10?, and what is her design gross weight?, and her design max g-load in a sustained pull? and no I'm not a critic, but a fan. My point is we know lots of information, and there is lots and lots of speculation, but specifics are hard to come by, a huge contrast with the way things are done here in the West. On the other hand, the F-60 doesn't have a lot of visible support, so who knows, or should I say Hu knows?
