^ He seems making assumption on J20 using foreign parts from US , Russia and Japan.

What's does he mean by that? what parts is he referring to? How does he know?

i do not know he is supposedly a russian expert in weapons

Pogoyan seems making assumption on J20 using foreign parts from US , Russia and Japan. What kinds of military parts allowed to export to China from US? I thought US is pretty strict on that. Same with Japan.

He said J20 is not indeginous.

What's does he mean by that? what parts is he referring to? How does he know?

Instead of answer questions, his saying raises way more questions instead.

Short answer, he definitely does not know.

Long answer, he certainly does not know, and does not know which parts specifically, and simply goes to imply China is unable to build the high tech componenets necessary by themselves which itself is a very outdated stereotype.

He does not raise any more questions because his credibility at this stage from what I've heard is as good as strategypage.

Pogyosan and makienko said that, we are discussing his opinions, do not make it personal, if you believe you do not like it okay, i just prove it that is what thr Russians think.

I'm not making it personal, but I am saying that your assumptions are wrong. I'm not sure whwat pogyosan and makienko said or what they think so unless you give me an article or translation of their words I will not comment further.

Personaly it will depend, if i say the J-20 is a prototype of stealth fighter based on stealth perhaps is like you say, but without supercruise or TVC it is not, and the only thing i said is the Russians have that opinion but is certain Russia has mastered TVC nozzles to the degree they built the first 3D engine on an operational jet, the F-15 was the amewrican equivalent Russia has made it operational.
first serial production of Su-35S for the Russian air force with 3D TVC nozzles
attachment.php

i have not seen yet a chinese jet with TVC nozzles i have only heared rumours.

Let me put it another way.

The fact that Russia has production jets with 3D TVC and supercruise capable engines entails that their PAK FA will have engines with these capabilities as well.
The fact that China does not have production jets with 3D TVC and supercruise capable engines DOES NOT ENTAIL that the J-20 will not have engines with these capabilities.

So please stop saying words like "i have not seen yet a chinese jet with TVC nozzles" -- because you do not need to see a chinese jet with TVC nozzles to have J-20 have TVC nozzles.

Sigh.

-------

I'll give you another example.

The fact that China has multiple airborne AESAs deployed and in service entails that J-20, an up and coming fighter aircraft with an AESA as a necessity will probably have AESA. TRUE
The fact that Russia has no airborne AESAs deployed and in service DOES NOT ENTAIL that PAK FA, an up and coming fighter aircraft with an AESA as a necessity will not have AESA. FALSE.

Russia has AESA radars airborne

Zhuk-MF+on+Mig-35.jpg

they have the technology and have shown it, China has not shown it, they might have as a rumour but it has not been confirmed on a Jet flying now

but okay let us cut it here it is no point argue this anymore, i keep my opinion for my self. regards

The Zhuk AE is not deployed or in service by any stretch of imagination and the original comparison was with aircraft in production and in service.

but okay let us cut it here it is no point argue this anymore, i keep my opinion for my self. regards

You have yet to reply to the rest of my argument. But from here I do hope you will stop thinking it is necessary for China to have TVC or supercruise capable engines deployed and in service for J-20 to have them, at least.

GG.

I think it's a good thing that the Russians are being ignorant, you NEVER want your enemy/competitor to know exactly what you're capable of. The Russians like to downplay Chinese advancements and the Americans like to trump them up, and both things are good for the PLA.

Mig-29, they have created a thread for you to make assumptions. Please tell us what we don't know. We want to know the facts that you saw or heard.

Tbh most American analysts downplay Chinese advancements too, on a slightly less extravagant scale though compared with the Russians.
