J-20... The New Generation Fighter III

I went back to CD to see if there are any new videos. Not yet, but I got confused: Official news says CAC has been doing test show for two consecutive days, pointing out the second day is the 28th.... Now, how come I remember the first day was the 26th? Have I been switched between two parallel worlds?

Yes, something like molasses and grease on my machine siege, actually this one loaded faster than the one yesterday, but the flying shots are really jumpy. Thanks siege, does one of the video links bd listed above get through to the mainland, youtube and metacafe seemed to get walled off?

Probably the clearest flying video so far but I hope it's doing more than figure 8s because that's been done before.

For some reason I don't get any of these Chinese site problems that have been noted and I live in the US. I see everything fine.

Can someone link me this address of the this CD site you've been talking about. Thanks.

Actually siege, this one played very well, much better than average, and the you tube vid loaded and played very well. Somebody should buy our photog a stabilized tripod, but parts of the vid are much clearer. The tall man has the show down low now, and hes honkin her right on around, as I have said from the beginning, be carefull tallman, the airshow biz is probly as dangerous as combat and we don't want to lose you or your new toy, that we all enjoy so much. Do we know anything about the throttle jockey, is he civilian (NAH), maybe since their sharing these images we all enjoy, they'll tell us a little more, even the Sukhoi boys do a little, nah make that a lot of advertizing, I really would like to see some video of the pull to and through vertical and the rollout. Those vapor vortexs tell us a little as well, it really is a priveledge to get to see a real airplane in developement and test flying, thanks for sharing these videos.

this 27-2 flight is amazing, it's an all out burn and turn, and like AF brat say they be better be extra careful with the bird
i don't know enough to analyze the turn performance and else, but to me this bird finally do turn like an agile fighter, and anyone one else who says otherwise (J-20 is a striker school) better be thinking hard on their opinion

AFbrat, is that an immelmann? you spotted it a page ago, good vid as well, provides another angle, also showing the Chengdu wallclimber crew, with freaking accent

Brat, I'm sorry to report that the link you PMed me didn't work. Of course, it's walled and I had to use proxy sites to "climb over the wall" But I tried a couple of such sites, all giving me the same message: The site doesn't exist (or something to that effect).

I like this one even better than goodboy's clearer ones, because this video is so real with so many reference points, which leads to my question: Could anyone here estimate the altitude of the J-20 during this test run? It looks to me to be so low, about 100 meters?
