you can use any picture where the jets in profile or from top you but if you want to know here
for F-22
and for J-20 the picture of j-20,j-7, J-10 we have use for its measure.
it is around 3 meters difference perhaps up to 3.5 but at least 3 meters
I hope you used some geometry to find the lengths in that picture...It's at an angle.

no problem if you use photoshop you can rotate the cropping box and get it straight
I think he means that the plane is pointing down at the ground, not that picture itself is slanted.
When I went out this morning to pick up the newspapers, I saw a tiny piece of dirty, wrinkled paper with handwritten words on it, barely legible:
