hide X-band radar into iPhone? ROFL
even one will drive on something like FBX-T to CAC airfield fence, being unvisible, he will soon recall about small things called radar reflectors and Luneburg lenses

I believe I first pointed out his trollness back in January :p This security thing is nonsense, but I guess there has to be something to talk about with a lack of info regarding the J-20 since their latest test flights....

Exactly. I think the J-10b would be more than a match for 4.5 gen like Typhoon and Su-35BM once the engine problem is solved.

+ 1 for me, at the moment the main disavantage of j10b versus the two best 4.5 gen fighter (typhoon and rafale) is the engine, which has lower t/w ratio, thus reducing flight performance.

Furthermore the day when J10b will get a ws10 derivative more powerful than fws10 will give us an indication of the state of china engine tech, thus clarifying the status of the more ambitous, and relevant for j20, ws15.

Another issue would be the low weapons load compared with typhoon and rafale. J-10B can't become a true multi-role fighter unless they install WS-10.

If you're wondering what's the likely position the pic on #2401 is taken from just go to the vid on #2463 and freeze at 00:45 or thereabouts.

Either that end or the other end, more likely this end.

Two photographic proofs that J-20 Mighty Dragon is smaller than J-11

sBcsn.jpg

In the left photo, the J-20 is seen next to a J-10. In the middle photo, a J-10 is shown to be larger than a J-7. In the right photo, a J-11 is parked close to a J-7. In conclusion, the J-20 Mighty Dragon is slightly smaller than a J-11.

This photographic analysis is consistent with an earlier side-view photographic comparison of a Su-27UB and the J-20 Mighty Dragon. The J-11 shares the same basic airframe with the Su-27UB.

Pixel by pixel analysis confirms China J-20 Mighty Dragon is the size of a Su-27UB

You are quite right, I examine the picture pixel by pixel - everything seems to line up almost perfectly, EXCEPT the pilot's head - either Chinese pilot's head is enormous (its about 130% larger) or the J-20 is smaller.

For some reason, J-20 looks closer to the camera hence the pilot looks larger. If you scale it down slightly, I think it might even be smaller than F-22 or PAK FA.

Also Su-27UB is 21.9 m long, from tip of the nose to the end of the boom, even measuring against that J-20 is shorter by quite a bit.

[Note: Thank you to "Asymptote" for the post and analysis.]

^ Again I don't think you've factored in the J-20 pilots helmet size, his leaning forwards and the breathing apparatus in your analysis...

But even then I think such a simple "this lines up with this" so called analysis is dubious at best.
