Re: J-20 Mighty Dragon approach and landing VIDEO

The American sent USNS Impeccable (T-AGOS-23) ocean surveillance ship to camp outside Hainan Island all the time (that's why we got all those news of Chinese "fisherman" tailing the US ship - the so called "South China Sea incident 2009") because of the new Type 093 sub, they even sent USS Chung-Hoon (DDG-93) Arleigh Burke-class Aegis destroyer into the area to protect the Impeccable while it records the layout of the submarine base and sonar acoustics of all Chinese subs; with such aggressive tactic of surveillance for the subs, you don't think the CIA/DIA/ONI/AF ISR will sent at least 3 dozen operatives to record and measure something as significant as J-20 which could threaten the whole Pacific fleet ??!!

To be honest, I would not be surprise at all if they do sent at least 3 dozen operatives on the ground near CAC. I mean, imagine how piss off Robert Gates were to his staff when he was completely surprised by the J-20 revelation back in January. I am sure he would sent his own mother now if he could.

Its possible, even probable. PLAAF better take care of security. To have civilians that close to an military prototype is not good. Anyone can infiltrate that crowd and make recordings, even if they are not extensive.

In fact, i think that they should transfer j-20 to a remote air base, away from civilian areas. The public has already enough photos and video. Time to give it a rest

Unless,........ these are all part of a deliberate public demonstration. The actual testings have already been done many months ago and the J-20 project is far beyond what has been revealed. Does it even seem a tiny bit suspicious, that many of the photos can show up only because the PLA has allowed them to, especially letting the J-20 to be seen around the densely-populated Chengdu?

So.
let me get this straight.

if Communist hide it, that means they are devious and wants to hide capability don't want any one know
if Communist doesn't or can't hide it, ah ha. They are also devious! it is just all an public information campaign!

as for Chengdu Aircraft Design Insitute and CAC located in densly populated Chengdu. well obvious that is a conspiracy too.
The facts that Lockheed-Martin Fort Worth is located in Ft Worth TX, and Lockeed Marrietta is in a busy burb of ATL. has no bearing on that, None, what's so ever.

I would suspect that revealing the J-20, has been a follow-through on the comment of a Chinese official last Fall, in response to the series of US military exercises in Asia, that the increased US presence would only lead to accelerated Chinese military development.

I think someone holding a RCS reader, especially a foreigner, would look really suspicious lol. Probably he would be arrested by overzealous Chinese military fans before the guards could take action.

a typical patriotic chinese civilian is scarier than a typical patriotic chinese military personnel on duty because nothing is stopping the civilians from coming to defense of the motherland

Have any of you thought that maybe they're conducting tests at Chengdu airfield because they're using the airplane as a deterrence to give themselves a better hand at the bargaining table?
