Can we reverse concluding that, the blue AB indicating, THE PREVIOUS flights, are now for sure, not using any after-burner to take-off.
Linking the un-testified opinion that "J-20 took-off within 200m"(neither proven true, nor false), that means the J-20's engine is some really kick-ass engine, at least.

IF this pic (with this kind of clarity, you can even differentiate the shadow!) shows up before the famous "let you see my weapons bay" pic, - can we assume MANY PEOPLE, would found it convenient that, "See? the J-20 do not have a weapons bay at all!"?
I just wanna say, OUTSIDERS (including me), are just outsiders, no matter how much noise made (due course), the capability, is simply there.

Sorry, ... I really don't understand this post ... but actually that picture is not that good as one might think and has most likely been psed a bit. Therefore on this one You can't see the bays, but I think no-one can deny them, since we've seen them already open.

I mean if you see this pic before you have any chance saw the other pic which shows clear side weapon bay... SOME might (using this pic as envidence) deny the existence of J-20's weapon bay, outright.
Let's say, one can claim "J-20 don't have an on-board gun (gun system? 机炮), cause no envidence shows that!" People saw what they want to see.
I mean if you see this pic before you have any chance saw the other pic which shows clear side weapon bay... SOME might (using this pic as envidence) deny the existence of J-20's weapon bay, outright.
Let's say, one can claim "J-20 don't have an on-board gun (gun system? 机炮), cause no envidence shows that!" People saw what they want to see.

Nice ... but I thought all flights so far were done without reheat ... so was there another flight ??
And the can we make any conclusions based on the exhaust color, about the engine-type ? As far as I know the AL-31F is known for its blueish AB, but I don't remember a TH-AB-photo.

AFAIK, Saturn AL-xx series of engines have blue afterburner. The few pictures I saw of the TH in afterburner show them to be pinkish to orange. American F-1xx engines have orange afterburners. As for WS-15, not much information that I know of.
There'll be exceptions for a variety of reasons, example being overexposed shots in dim light or during nighttime, but the norms are bright daylight pictures are as such.

I was going to say what I'm about to say on the other forum where I already have participated occasionally since the J-10 era. But I couldn't get onto it at this time. So let me let myself in by pretending that I really know something for sure that nobody here seems to know. 
Now here's the shocker: The blue flame from the after burner is actually faked or PSed. Put the other way, none of the real J-20 related photos and videos ever showed any flame from the rear. This after-burn stuff is faked by someone who wished to convince the world that the J-20 was flying with the Russian engines. That's it.
Now let's wait and see if this claim stands. The J-20 probably will be inducted far sooner than most outsiders have expected.
