All the talks, I see you guys missed an important spot of this pic.

The HUD! - At least a F-35 style.

Edit: This picture clearly shows that this "show", is an official leak. Otherwise no one can take this kind of shot, and leave in one piece.

This actually brought an interesting though: THERE IS NO WAY any guess that WS-10 (even WS-15) "is still far far away". - Everything in chengdu, is for show, the most arguable topic of the engine test issue, CAN BE already under rigorous tesing, FOR QUITE A LONG TIME. (not necessary HERE at chengdu)

J-20 as "operational" as F-22, when at 2016 - is quite possible!

I noticed that but didn't bring it up because i thought it was already known from first flight photos.

Err how's the HUD "F-35" style? Jsf doesn't have an HUD... That isnt to say the glowing green HUD doesn't look anything less than badass though.

Most images originate with military enthusiasts in China on Chinese websites. Infrequently, the government releases pictures. Some people believe that the government is intentionally permitting enthusiasts to watch/photograph the Chengdu airfield and unofficially announce the progress of the J-20 Mighty Dragon's development.

OK my bad, my intention is to emphasis that this time, the "openly let you take shots, for the whole cockpit, as open as you can get." style of leak.

The whole "on-board computer panel", plus the HUD, is a major leap forward for any Chinese military aircrft. Most of times, even "Authorised leaks" would blur these parts (or taking less detailed angle), until last minute. I don't think previously, anyone got this kind of angle with this kind of openess to shot (and release).

To link topics together, I really think the "FULL OPERATIONAL INDIGENOUS BRAND" engines, are just "one leak away".

Edit: I mean, come on men, few pages back, anyone predicted "another test fly" this quick?

More pages back, anyone predicted "2nd fly" "weapons bay" stuff right?
