2. He seems to confirm that some of J-7 or J-8 units transform into J-20 unit.
That’s not what he said. What he meant is that the fact that pilots who fly older variant of J-20 claiming that their planes are technologically backwards sounds ludicrous in a bragging sense to the poor J-7/J-8/Su-27SK drivers.

My take on credibility rank: Yankee > Shilao >>>> Ayi
key takeaways:

1. Yankee also confirmed that the number of J-20 has surpassed F-22.

2. He seems to confirm that some of J-7 or J-8 units transform into J-20 unit.

3. He knows something up there definitely I am sure of that. He is suggesting that 6th gen fighter could appear publicly earlier than H-20 and even NGAD.

Point 3 is fascinating.

I wonder if he is referring to a 6th gen prototype or tech/flight demonstrator. If it appears earlier than H-20 then either our assessments of the PLA 6th gen project was too late or our estimates of H-20 was too early, or both.

I mean, it would make sense since the WS-20 is a turbofan compared to the D30K turbojets which are loud AF.

D-30 is a turbojet? What?

D-30 is not a turbojet but rather an old low bypass turbofan.
WS-20 as a more modern high bypass turbofan will indeed be quieter.

That said this discussion around engines is tangential to the thread topic, so let's leave it here.
If there's further discussions on this I'll move it to a different thread.
