Agreed ... but I would put other units like the 4th AB, the 72nd, the 85th and the 89th also on the "to watch list"

Yeah, but we don't have any rumours about them yet. They're on the "to watch list" but IMO 97th is able to reach the "potentially converting" list.

Just asked Sean O'Connor from Janes concerning the 55th AB ... here is reply:

Google Earth has an Airbus image from Nov 2022, shows 9 FLANKER airframes. There has been a bit of infrastructure work over the past few years so an eventual type upgrade is obviously possible.
