Then, why don't crop the tip in the front of the canard?
First of all any tip (joining point of two lines) is a source of RCS increase. Clipping one tip will create two tips. So you don't just crop it, but do so only if the sum of the RCS increase of the two new tips are less than the one tip you cropped.

A tip of acute angle (the back tip) has higher RCS signature than a tip of obtuse angle. The smaller the angle, the higher RCS. Therefor you want to clip it. The tip at the front is not seen as a problem. You can see that all tips of wings or canards or horizontal stabilizers of F-22, F-35 and J-20's are not clipped because clipping them may be counter-productive.

Figure 1 of post #5,482 has shown that only the back tip is considered a concern.

The same paper also said that if it was for RCS reduction purpose the trailing edge of the canard would haven been forward swapping (no clipping needed). But that counters the aerodynamic performance of canard.

You better clear this up on Twitter if you haven’t already. Lots of people on Weibo are jumping at a chance to drag your name through the mud.
I figured that might happen hence why I bought it to attention here.
I don't like it when that reverse information loop happens where it goes "Sutton/Henri Kenhmann -> Guancha -> other Chinese commentator -> weibo" and this case it's even worse with an Indian media thrown into the loop to further confuse the issue.

People have noticed the new tweet and are telling Fu Qianshao's team to check their sources more carefully in the future before opening their mouth.

Just noticed, there is another new vide - the old one indeed seems to be deleted - and again it sounded as if he was mentions me… could anyone explain what he said?

Seems to me China is going with the school of thought of abandoning dogfighting for missile delivery, which the US tried with the F-4 Phantom, but missile and radar technology wasn't mature enough back then during the Vietnam war.

Dogfighting needs not to be done with a gun these days. In the unlikely event of a merge, the J-20 could use the ITR to change directions, launch PL-10, and disengage.
