As kool as these high alpha stunts are (and they are useful for bragging rights for the jet's capabilities), I want a J-20/Raptor/Su-35 driver to tell me what's the probability that they'd actually use something like this in a real dogfight?
I heard a USAF instructor say that the only time they have a shot against F-22s in DACT, is when young Raptor pilots try high AoA stunts and mess it up. Maybe if you have like 10,000 flight hours (e.g. Top Gun instructors or their Chinese or Russian equivalents) you might actually use it in a real fight. But even if they screw up, they'll be kinematically kaput and get splashed 5 seconds later.
