As per @scramble_nl, the 8th Air Brigade at Changxing has started conversion to J-20A fighters as the PLAAF‘s overall 6th combat unit and the second within the ETC.

I would still reduce this number to about 110-120 since - according to my latest information - by far not all units have a full complement and are flying with only two daduis at best at the moment.

I think 9th brigade should be at full strength, and 1st brigade likely approaching full strength.

But I agree that 5th, 56th, 111th and 8th likely all only have 1-2 daduis each.

And Dingxin and Cangzhou have... Whatever number they have. Do we know what sort of pattern they even have for new aircraft?
Given we know that at least at Dingxin they have both Al-31 powered J-20s and newer produced WS-10 powered J-20s, meaning they have likely expanded their J-20 number a little over the last few years.

So, what source did Scramble.nl use to claim 8th brigade got J-20s? Is there an image with a serial number going around? Is there a person with good past record claiming they saw J-20 arrive at 8th brigade? Or something else?
