The US Air Force removed all the B-2s from Guam a few years ago because they were too vulnerable.

That's not what they said.

"Although the move signifies the close of a 16-year mission as part of the Continuous Bomber Presence mission, the change doesn’t mean strategic bombers won’t operate in the Indo-Pacific anymore, the Air Force said.

“In line with the National Defense Strategy, the United States has transitioned to an approach that enables strategic bombers to operate forward in the Indo-Pacific region from a broader array of overseas locations, when required, and with greater operational resilience, while these bombers are permanently based in the United States,” Air Force Global Strike Command said in a statement.

“U.S. strategic bombers will continue to operate in the Indo-Pacific, to include Guam, at the timing and tempo of our choosing,” the statement said."

They proably figured it's cheaper than permanently posting THAAD and Patriot batteries there.

The j-20 should always have the Luneberg lens open, which means that the e-3 can't find the j-20 with the Luneberg len open in time?

Keep in mind the E-3 is ancient and the USAF wants some Wedgetails.

I don't think 1) and 2) are necessarily a given.

Command/control of an encounter can mean anything from intercepting F-35s in a timely way, or J-20s (with or without other friendly Chinese aircraft) in the region being observed in the relevant space coordinating in a manner that is brisk, efficient and silent/difficult to listen in on by their passive sensors.

Or any combination thereof.

There is also nothing about anti-stealth radar or KJ-500 described in the specific encounter with J-20 --- the part of the video about KJ-500 that is mentioned, is done so in a more general sense, describing part of the role in which KJ-500 plays in the PLA.

IMO, the only thing that we can infer from the statement that such an encounter occurred, is that such an encounter as indeed occurred.
I.e.: US F-35s have had at least one close encounter with PLA J-20s over the ECS.
I don't think we can confidently extricate or speculate as to any other information from the statements in the video.
The general did add or at least hinted E-3 failed to perform the same function as KJ500 in detecting stealth jet like J20

I doubt the US Navy said one day we're going to screw around and taunt some Chinese fighters today near China. It's more likely the J-20s came to them for them to then know it was a J-20 because the US knows they would be in a sensitive area and they would fly in a standard non-provocative patrol. They wouldn't want to have an F-35 take a swim close to China.

"Everywhere"? No, the F-35 is "everywhere". When has a J-20 even been seen outside China?
That's a phrase started by certain well known military analyst in China to describe the expectation that J-20s will appear everywhere in China over the next few years as the production level goes well above what we've seen with other programs. It won't just be restricted to elite brigades in certain part of the country.

Indeed. If rumors of it being deployed even in the Central Theater Command is true then non-frontline combat units are flying them as well. The J-20 is also easier to master compared with fourth generation fighter aircraft. In a report from 2020 a pilot having just flow 100 hours on the plane already started trouncing legacy fighters in air combat exercise.
