The way I see it is that Chengdu AVIC has set up 5 internal teams for a "one to one" delivery and equip tasks.

1) 5 teams referred to teams set up by Chengdu AVIC, rather than refer to 5 brigades from PLAAF or PLAN Aviation.
2) "one to one delivery and equip" could be refer to direct delivery to specific users (dadui [squadron] or brigade) and possible "one to one" training and orientation for pilots and ground crew of the units receiving the aircraft.
3) Above (1) and (2) specifically refer to 4th quarter of the year, almost certain this year.
4) The change in delivery mode is to ensure Chengdu AVIC would reach its targeted delivery for the year.

That is my impression as well.

And most importantly -- there's nothing about it that says the five teams are all delivering J-20s.

Given the context of the Weibo article mentions multiple planes waiting testing, it is more believable that it is 1 plane per team. Simultaneously assembling and testing 5 planes at the same time to maximise the utilisation of production resources.

You mean one airframe per team? That seems unlikely, given the article is talking about the teams delivering aircraft to customers in quarter 4.

One team only working on a single airframe would be odd.

The interpretation that there are five teams, one team for delivering an aircraft type to a given customer, seems the most logical to me.
What we do not know is:
- how many aircraft there are per team
- which team is delivering which aircraft type (and whether any teams are working on the same aircraft type)

At a minimum, this photo shows multiple people are required per plane.

well, it's clearly about j20 and j10c delivery given that the photos used were full of them (j20 mostly). So definitely involves j10c delivery, about 1:4? or 2:3?

Let's not forget that the rumored production of J-10C for Pakistan will be completed before the year's end. We need to add that on top of J-10Cs bound for PLAAF service.

If it's based on this part: "同时成立五个接装团队" and this part "同时成立五个“一对一”接装团队" -- how do we know they're referring to five brigades meant to receive J-20s?

The entire article after all, is talking about CAC in quarter 4 in general, it's not talking about CAC's J-20 deliveries in quarter 4.

Isn't it possible (or indeed more likely) that they're talking about various aircraft types that CAC are producing (J-20s, J-10s, and also other aircraft like WL UAVs), that are being delivered to 5 customers or units simultaneously?
I am, too, skeptical of that claim of "5 brigades receiving J-20 all at once". I was merely providing you a possible copy of the source.

Right, and I'm just trying to square how the possible source might be able to explain the claim that was previously made.

Of course I appreciate having the article at hand, it wasn't a criticism of you.
