Yes, they have an anti-radiation missile based on PL-12, called LD-10 (export designation). A similar approach using PL-15 missile base design for a new anti-radiation is a logical move.

No, one of the PL12 designers said during an interview at Zhuhai that the standard PL12 has a secondary passive homing operating mode.

I am struggling to find the link now as it was maybe a decade ago, but this secondary capability is definitely real as I was told of it by a trusted personal friend and accidentally let it slip so was very glad that interview came out not long after to officially put it in the public domain.

emmm, interesting, so what is the different between an anti radiation missile to a BVRAAM like AMRAAM or PL-15?

suppose the seeker on both missiles are same? active radar seeker

Most BVRAAMs are active radar homing, meaning they actively emit radar signals to allow them to home in on reflected contacts. Anti radiation missiles are passive homing, meaning they don’t emit any radar signals and instead home in on active emitting radiation sources.

Dedicated ARMs are going to be significantly better than a PL12 in passive homing mode at taking out SAMs, but the PL12 could theoretically also be used in such a role in a pinch.

But having a secondary passive homing mode in the AA role does not mean it is an effective true ARM. As such I really question this conclusion.

More optimistically, there's been displays of export missiles that seem adapted for the J-20's bays. They're only export missiles, and may not have been inducted into the J-20, but it shows that there is research into A2G bombs for the J-20.

As I've shown, the J-20's bays are deep enough to, unlike the F-22, carry serious stand-off strike missiles along the lines of what's seen with the F-35. At 4.5x2x.550m, the J-20 might be competitive with the F-35 in terms of its internal-bay strike capability, with 3-4 strike missiles alongside 2 WVR AAMs compared to 2 stand-off strike missiles with 4 BVR AAMs.

It's still a question of missile availability, of course, as well as to whether the J-20's bays are reinforced to carry such stand-off missiles. For comparison purposes, the F-22 can carry about 1200 kg of munitions in its main bay. The JSM seems to weigh around 400 kg, so it would be 1600 kg for the J-20 to carry 4 JSM-equivalents.
