But there is no ARM yet known ready for the J-20?
The PL12 have a passive effective anti-radiation mode, so in theory it would perform DEAD missions with PL12s.

If the PLAAF liked this mode on the PL12, it is also entirely possible that the PL15 might also have such a mode.

Or somebody at CAC saw my joke comment about mounting rocket pods in the side weapons bays and decided to make it happen for lolz.

Yes, they have an anti-radiation missile based on PL-12, called LD-10 (export designation). A similar approach using PL-15 missile base design for a new anti-radiation is a logical move.

But is it really export-ready or only a proposal and even more is there indeed a PLAAF variant in service, even more of the PL-15?

For my taste there are too many ifs included in this „we can be sure there is an anti-radiation PL-15 operational“!

I thought it was artwork, like an actual painting or something like that.
It has some texture/grain on the vertical stabilizer.
Looks like the artwork you might find on the front of a model box
I think that grain and texture is actually just photographic details of the model itself. Someone took a photo of a model and then edited the image to change the background to a real sky, and to include the vapor trail.

Maybe SDB? Not sure. Definitely not rocket pods though.

I'm unsure if the phrasing of the words suggest the J-20s and the JH-7s both participated in the ground strikes or if they were only together as part of a ground strike package -- obviously in the latter case the J-20s would've been escort/air superiority overwatch.

OTOH if the J-20s themselves did deploy their own ordnance, the most likely candidates would be some sort of satellite/INS guided PGM (any of the JDAM equivalents that has been offered by Chinese aerospace companies in the recent past, if the PLA has finally bitten the bullet and bought a type) -- or a SDB equivalent (which of course would be even more desirable for the aircraft).

That said, given this is the PLA we are talking about, I cannot fully exclude the possibility they may have just deployed dumb bombs using the aircraft's own internal targeting computer, though I would find that very unlikely.
