Just want to point out that the su-57's flat nozzles are quite different from the CHAD and SHADE nozzles. Afaik the su-57's is the first flat nozzle capable of 3D TVC (it can also point side to side for yaw) which is incredibly cool. The Boeing X-45 did have a flat nozzle with yaw TVC only, but it's still not 3D because it can't point up and down. From what we've seen I don't think CHAD and SHADE's nozzles are capable of pointing side to side, although I'd love to be proven wrong. All in all it doesn't seem that China is very keen on TVC, so I don't have a ton of hope for ws-15s with TVCI see that Russia has developed a flat nozzle for su-57. Chinese 6th gen planes also have flat nozzles. Is there any attempts at developing flat nozzles for j-20b with ws-15 as well?

The Su-57's flat nozzles are incapable of moving side to side, they're traditional 2D TVCs.Just want to point out that the su-57's flat nozzles are quite different from the CHAD and SHADE nozzles. Can anyone confirm if this is real?
Also, how does get the tweet to show?
Fan video, it's 2D up down on an angle.
With slanting, the 2d vectoring dual engines could trick 3d vectoring moves, saving weight and complexity. You gain yaw control.
F-22 can only roll and pitch with that setup, yaw could be possible only while using thrust difference between engine.
What @Atomicfrog said. This is how the Flankers do TVC as well, they are not fully 3D vectoring nozzles but 2D that move at an angle to achieve 3D vectoring.
allegedly they can (at 40s):The Su-57's flat nozzles are incapable of moving side to side, they're traditional 2D TVCs.
It means Henan's J-20Can anyone explain what's up with this post? It seems not to show anything special ... "钓鱼佬之中原雄鹰" = "The Central Plains Eagle in the Fisherman", what's the meaning??

I think it means the J-20 stationed somewhere in land is on the coast for some reason? I'm guessing inland J-20s are being based on outer provinces/bases temporarily for parade prep? Can anyone explain what's up with this post? It seems not to show anything special ...
