Beast mode high RCS mode.

I get it looks cool, but we all know that in a real war stealth fighters won't be carrying a bunch of missiles externally. At least at the beginning.

And even in the later stages, they probably won't overdo it because of the penalty to range and maneuverability.

(1)you often don't have a choice. It's a fighter, not a statuette in the end.
(2)j-16 is yet to show 16 missile capability. That's quite a lot.
(3)Normal LACMs aren't cheap themselves. Damage is often more expensive still.

It's better to think of a task like this as "can", as opposed to necessarily "will".
