I must admit, when I saw it first, this was my first impression too.
absolutely.. and if you closely see the image. left engine nozzle is flat as compare to right side engine.. must be 2D nozzle we have seen at 2022 Zhuhai air show. also the light yellow petals design on left side engine is different..

this is clearly a new nozzle..

this is the model, they have shown at 2022 airshow.

To me they just look like WS-15 engines but with a gleam on the brown section, and the front silver part shown in pic 2 darkened black/brown instead of being silver. The petals also may look shorter due to the viewing angle, and it being in a more closed position.

Wait It could also be a WS-10 variant as we've been hearing some rumors I think ? of another WS-10 type engine. It has the brown shading instead of silver in this ws-10c picture., and shorter petals..

Yeah I think this is the more likely explanation.

People should stop wishful speculation based on very ambiguous photos.

My rule of thumb -- for anything engine related, if a picture, rumour, or hint, is not good quality and has a reasonable possibility of being the "boring" answer, then we are obliged to assume the "boring" answer is the actual reality, unless further information/imagery comes to light which suggests otherwise.

Well, given the lack of the signature distinct wide silver collar, it definitely isn't a regular WS-10C nozzle.

Edit: nevermind, it IS definitely a WS-10C.
