I noticed that the ventral strakes appear to be solid grey like the ones on J-20A.
Not only this ... it also features the J-20A's broader - more beak-like - radome and if indeed also using WS-15 engines, I think it's time to change the designation at least to J-20AS.
Only if they intended for the J-20S to enter service with WS-10C though. To the best of my knowledge that hasn’t happened yet?
Why? I thought the WS-10C powered regular J-20 is called just "J-20" and so a WS-10C-powered twin-seater would make sense as a J-20S.
Now with several changes akin to the J-20A - aka WS-15 engines, beak-like broader radome & other minor details - I think it should be called J-20AS.
Or do I miss something?
left engine looks totally different.. neither WS-10C or WS-15@机外停车Rabbit wishes a Happy New Year and if I'm not mistaken, with one of the most impressive images of a J-20S twin-seater published so far!
