IMO not a match ... even more I think, the inner details don't fit to a WS-10 of any version.

All engines have that collar. It is only that so far in all installations of WS-10 the collar is more exposed, while the WS-15's collar is largely concealed in its installation.

When was the last time a fighter jet fired its gun and achieved a kill?

If a J20 need to engaged in gun fighting it is already a big failure.

What if the enemy plane tries to chase and engage the J-20 using machine gun? What can the J-20 do to fight back?

Doesn't seem to quite match, and also the afterburner flame color of the WS-10 tends to be blue/purple, while the WS-15 is more orange.

As I've learned first-hand, judging engines by afterburner color may not be the wisest move.

But now, could we say we're somewhat sure on 2053 using WS-15s?

i m very much familiar with all WS-10 variants nozzles.

i think it is safe to say this, Engines on 2053 are WS-15.. but we should wait for more images of 2053..
