J-20 twin seater prototype 2032.

Twin seater 2033, but I'm not sure if this image is genuine or PSed.

Who is this one?

Anyway, if legit, and at least the one showing 2032 looks real - it shows that its radome is indeed more beak-like similar to the J-20A's radome than the regular J-20's.

For 2033 my gut-felling tells me it looks a bit fishy!?

PS: This guy was formerly known as @四川地产界高层-军事画匠! Indeed, a genius in terms of PS- and CG-imagery but apparently also with good contacts and therefore often indeed legit images. Unfortunately, the distinction or certainty of whether it is real or artificial is blurred for his imagery quite often.

Indeed, this was why I was careful in pointing out that the second image might not be genuine. However, as of late, this Weibo poster has begun to label which of the images he posts are his own CG/PSed work. The two images I shared have not been labelled as his own creations, so they are hopefully genuine.

Flying together should not be a cause for surprise anymore.

Flying together isn't necessarily a surprise, but that's not what is being challenged.

There are two reasons why imo this picture is not worth our time.

1: The picture probably isn't real to begin with.

2: Even if the picture is real, who cares?
We know that the PLA is doing MUMT testing between manned aircraft and unmanned aircraft, but that kind of testing doesn't require the manned aircraft and the unmanned aircraft to fly alongside each other in the same formation. If anything it is far more relevant and impressive for MUMT testing if the unmanned aircraft is a long distance away from the manned aircraft. Furthermore, even if the picture is real, we also can not rule out the possibility that the unmanned aircraft is being controlled from the ground rather than the J-20 or flying with extensive autonomy.

If this picture is real, it would only be noteworthy by being a rare image of GJ-11 with a concealed engine nozzle in flight, and noteworthy seeing GJ-11 and J-20 close to each other in formation as a "huh neat acknowledgement".
But there's not much else that is interesting here, even if the picture is real, imo.

How do you know the picture is not real?

Maybe the drone is flying autonomously and J-20 is observing it's flight/integrity, hence the close proximity.
