I know this doesn't add anything to the thread, but I'd just like to personally say that this is an absolutely beautiful image of the J-20, one of the most stunning images of military aircraft out there.A nice image for the weekend.
Watched it again, this time more carefully. I don't remember seeing anybody bringing up this part of his word, bold text below.
At 20:14, Yangwei said "At that exhibition (2018), a journalist asked when J-20 is going to have TVC, I replied how do you know we haven't. Here I can tell everybody that we have no intension "没打算" to install TVC (on J-20)". This is the clearest and straightest words about TVC and J-20.
This TVC subject was brought up here few days ago and it seems some people are still hoping or waiting for WS-15 with TVC on J-20. This speech is clear to me that the designer has tried TVC on J-20 and determined there is no reason to do so. The message is that not having TVC on J-20 has nothing to do with WS-10's limited thrust. The key word is "没打算", no intension, no plan, no need. He wouldn't have said so if J-20 is waiting for TVC with WS-15.
His following word has been posted here "we are not fighting this kind of war (any more) (dog fight being the primary), it is a good bragging point in aerobatic show, but we need outcome in real battle". This is how he see the value of TVC enabled characteristic.
It is consistent with what Yankeesama said in one of his shows — PLAAF would rather have more thrust than TVC nozzles.
The TVC makes the engine more expensive to produce and harder to maintain. The J-20 has the canards so the TVC would be of little use. It would be more helpful on something like the J-16. But the J-16 is meant to do fighter bomber missions rather than dogfight.

Twin seater 2033, but I'm not sure if this image is genuine or PSed.
Not sure about 2033, but the image of painted 2032 looks like it could be legit at any rate.
I think this is one of the better side pics of J-20S/J-20B showing the "beaking" of the nose/radome that is similar to what J-20A has, and would be one of the minor external indicators that J-20S/B has some relevance to J-20A's development as stated by the individuals we follow, of course keeping in mind most developmental efforts relevant to J-20A that J-20S/B would see, are likely to be internal.
