More reassurance... Good to hear.

Thanks for that.
another point to be noted..

PLAAF is very happy with WS-10C engine performance. this is one of the reasons why CAS producing 80-100 units annually. WS-10C is early WS-15 equivalent engine. Liming incorporate many latest components and material in this machine.

WS-15 engine redesigned in 2018 after WS-10C exceed all the expectations..

What about lifespan?

I assume it's acceptable enough for them to incorporate it until WS-15s.

yeah i have heard and seen many people talk about Liming compromised WS-10C engine life span just to increase the thrust. this is not true.

WS-10B/WS-10C continuously is in upgrade phase. AECC along with subsidies like Liming/Xian and others actively working on components production method and introduce digitalization in final assembly line just to increase the efficiency and precision quality. production quality is extremely critical for engine life span..

2021 onward WS-10 engine is superior to WS-10 engine produced in pre-2020..

80-100 engines annually sounds low.

Wasn't there previously a company annual report with a figure of hundreds of WS-10 engines?

And if there are at least 80 J-20 being produced per year, that would require 160 WS-10C engines by itself.
