What do you think?

I remain sceptical and would say highly likely fake … we have seen already before the no. 2052 prototype faked to no. 2055. Anyway, the baseline image is surely one of the clearest image of a J-20A we‘ve seen so far.

He's saying the online figures for WS-10/15 is pretty overstated. I'm inclined to believe that he's talking about the 15 here.

However, is he credible on engine figures? Comments are saying it's only around F119 level, which is 156 kN. I personally believe it's definitely more. But I'm probably wrong.

talking about operational J-20s. so he meant WS-10 engine. as WS-15 yet to enter in service.

WS-15 specifications is very secret and nobody knows the exact details.

But only ~156 kN? I'm really doubtful of that figure.

I get that WS-15 probably focuses on high speed performance and efficiency, but surely it's tad bit more powerful, no?

Okay, fair enough. He did say J-20, not 20A.

I kinda doubt he knows about the actual thrust figures for WS-15, so I'm with you here.

who told you ? its 156KN. even if we take low estimate, total thrust of WS-15 will be more than 156KN..

Note - i have talked about WS-15 total thrust many times before. nobody knows the exact details. i repeat nobody knows the exact details. but i have my own source regarding Chinese Aero engine industry. they told me total thrust will be more than F-119 at minimum.

I'm with you here. For clarification, I used 156 because of the comments under the Weibo post.

So WS-15 does improve on J-20's transonic (or under) performance with higher thrust, correct?
