Gist of the passage.
Yang Wei and Tang Changhong (JH-7 designer) watched the flight performance today along with Air Force officials. Yang Wei stated that the three J-20s that performed today were all in service with PLAAF and that they removed some maneuverability restrictions compared with the display in 2016. He also stated that the officials only allowed the two J-20s to do a quick passthrough at Zhuhai 2016 but he convinced them to allow one J-20 to perform some maneuver displays.
and here ya go, just as I promised the "real eye candy", Bless Yang Wei for standing up for his "baby" and all her fans, so you see, we have been rewarded for our patience, and trust in the people who do know what they are doing, in spite of the nay-sayers! congratulations Gentlemen, your airplane has exceeded our expectations!
I generally frown against these sorts of attempts when we don't have a fixed frame.Anyone wants to make an educated guess on J-20's sustained turn rate from the videos? In the video J-20's has done several horizontal loops, assuming no speed drop and altitude drop, If you can measure the banking angle, the g-loading should be 1g / sin(bank angle). I don't know if it's possible to measure airspeed by analyzing the footage frame by frame.
Though it still leaves a lot of unknown like throttle level and fuel load...etc
By the way, in a news conference at the Airshow one journalists asked Yang Wei, "Will the J10B's engine (referring to the TVC engine) be used on the J20 in the future?"
Yang answered:"Your question is will it be used, how do you know it hasn't already been used (on the J20)?"
