At best that kind of reporting is really for American audiences only to lull Americans into believing everything in the US is the best therefore don't change the system with their votes. At worst... they have the mentality of someone who abuses their wife or girlfriend taking away any self-esteem to make them think they can't do anything without them hence how the abuser can maintain being in control.

To admit Assassin, I find your anti-American post very insulting, and Deino, I have a difficult time finding anything in this post that an SDF moderator should like?? I'm going to be offline for a while, I'm rather disgusted by this whole mess!

To admit I honestly do not understand your complain. It is simply a fact that the Chinese handle things different to the US and since the US is in nearly all far, far away most peoples - and this is now an opinion, not an insult, not an offence, just my opinion - especially in the USA tend to measure everything the Chinese do on this standard, which - again IMO - is wrong.

That starts with the definition of copying, that continues with the attention each and every movement the Chinese military makes and to call it offensive and ends with such simple issues like the definition of "in service".

Therefore I apologise that you take my "liking" as an insult or anti-American, but it is IMO nothing more than to admit, Chinese do their things differently and that does not always has to be wrong.

Unless you're able to track down the supposed original source they are quoting then this piece can basically be ignored.

I'm asking you to help track down the source. As I've said before, if the WS-15 did have an explosion in 2015, that's good news, because it implies that, #1, it was static testing in 2015, and #2, the accident occurred 3 years ago, not recently.

If it was news from a more reputable source then maybe some people here would bother.

But considering the nature of the claim and considering it's from strategypage, you should've done the legwork yourself.
