JacKsonbobo feels miffed he didn't get credited. I think the Chinese aviation photographers would like to get credited by name rather than an overarching "Chinese internet" for their photos. If you have trouble finding the photographers of the original photographs, Chinese members of SDF and I are more than happy to help you find them.

Fine ... indeed I would like to give not only credit but also - even if only small - remuneration for their images.

The main issue was so far that in most cases I only knew their "nicknames" and for the publishers it's simply much easier to only quote "Chinese Internet"; an issue I'm more than glad to change if possible.

Especially since I'm now preparing two new "projects" it would be fine if they were willing to contribute. Maybe You could forward this to him or them or even arrange a contact?

Wow, that's very generous of you, Deino. I think we should get @huitong to tell them because he's prominent and credible, and the photographers know who he is. If Huitong doesn't reply within a day or two, I'll message them even if they might not take me seriously.

I will contact Huitong, since he already helped me to get in touch with Bai Wai and Gao Han (who both helped me with images in my other two books), but names like "JacKsonbobo"; "LongShi", "Rabbit" and several others are only a mystery to me so far ! :(

Issue I must admit however is, that remuneration is nearly non-existent: For these news reports at AI, CA and AFM I only get a payment by the number of words and nothing for the images - that's why these magazines prefer to quote "Chinese internet" - and for my books I know they get a free-sample + only a hand-full of $$ per image. Nothing to become rich from.

Therefore I'm very much interested in such contacts.
Thanks a lot for any help.

Can you provide and image showing the explosive cord in j-10's canopy?

Jf-17 is not in Chinese service, and uses a Martin Baker Ejection seat in Pakistani service. MB seats traditionally used explosive cord method for breaching the canopy.

Just see any medium to high-res picture of a J10 canopy and you will see the single line strip right down the middle, just as it is on the JF17. They are both designed by CAC after all.

not necessarily, if you mean the fighters china has made up to now, probably it is true, versus their new Su-35 i would like to read an unbiased report, neither pro-Russian nor pro-Chinese, but if the J-20 surpasses the J-10 i think it is more due to stealth, than aerodynamics

The pilot clearly stated that the J-20 was superior to existing 4th gen Chinese fighters "kinematically".
