I'm 80% confident that the light-colored panel on the starboard green box is the gun cover.

No, dual cannons is almost never done anymore. Last ones were the SU25, Spector Jaguar, Mirage and Q5 It's more of a ground attack thing where you need to lay down more cannon fire. none of the Air superiority fighters including the Chinese indigenous J10 have more than one cannon.
