I see it as "1" rather than "2".

Yes, me too, but both '731' and '732' are GX-6 prototypes ... so either someone psed that very much already blurred image of this KJ-500 or its a mystery until we get better images. Could it be that the "3" in the middle is in fact a "5" ???

Nice ... but as far as I remember they are older (from around mid to late September) ... however these images found at the Meyet.com-Forum was new to me !

Does anyone have a paid subscription to Aviation Week? There's a story on the J-20 and would like to know if there's anything interesting.

The title "J-20 stealth fighter balances speed and agility" is enough to hook my interest.
There's also an article on Zhuhai as well.

Both are dated for November 3rd, which is strange.

@deino, in that second picture I thought the crane was an airbrake heh

While digging around for that new Sweetman article found this.

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

Seems like they're still going along with the idea that the J-20 is a big tanker killer.

EDIT: And Sweetman seems to have a startling lack of knowledge on China's engine programs.

EDIT2: I'm going to wait a few days for someone with an Aviation Week subscription to post the article. If no one does it I'll take one for the team and purchase a subscription. BUT if anyone's in the Bay Area you're all treating me to an expensive dinner.
