Well let me splain this to ya, I ordered a die-cast J-20, and a die-cast PAK-FA, from the flying mule. They are shipping in the same box,,,,,,, I was jesting, by suggesting they may have already had a dog-fight in the box, being packaged together..... I am not expecting them to burn much, if any fuel?????? its my crude attempt to entertain my public, just like you posting that goofy looking picture of your little brother?????
well the girls are here, sitting on their display stands, mostly plastic, not die-cast zinc as I was expecting,,,, fit fairly nicely, paint fairly nice as well, approx. 7 inches long, wingspan 4.5-5 inches, but generally very nice. Little disgusted about the plastic, but they are lighter, main fuse lower may be metal???? but upper deck, wings and tail feathers are all plastic... arrived US post, $ 33.97 shipped....J-20 is 2001 the first prototype, and PAK-FA is 52, the second prototype.... They are both pretty, the J-20 is of course beefy, but appears likely to be much more stealthy,,, the PAK-FA is just as gorgeous in person as her pictures,,,, hands on, they appear to have a CG/CL that may be closer than I had initially imagined due to the distant coupled canards of the J-20. The PAK-FA is all wing, no doubt it will turn tight enough to kiss its own tailfeathers, has bigger engines,, almost petite verts, while the J-20 has more tail feathers than a hunting arrow, directional control about the yaw axis will be outstanding. A very closely matched set, now if I could get the Raptor in the same scale/set, we would find out for sure whose bird is better! Pricey, but worth it, they Honey Badger gave me a whack when she saw them, I'm sure she is a little jealous, but she doesn't need to be.
