Regarding the corner reflector and the general rule of VLO aircraft of avoiding 90 degree joints, doesn't that spell trouble for the Russian PAK FA? Even if the current metallic nacelles of that jet get covered by RAM, it still has some perpendicular joints that seem to require some substantial redesign to get rid of.

That starboard engine nozzle does look very different in this photo. Does anyone know for sure what that engine is?

The starboard engine nozzle has longer petals compared to that of the left engine. A change in the type of nozzle is indicative of a change in the type of engine perhaps in the near future, but it isn't indicative the engine has already been changed.

The T-50 has with-out a doubt compromised some aspects of stealth, and pursued "supermaneuverability" and speed, it is a very slick airplane, but not a "very stealthy airplane" IMHO.

Actually if you magnify that image up to 400x or so, it appears that, is the trailing edge of the port horizontal stabilizer, the Eng is right, same engine, but this set-up on the 2011 appears that one engine is lagging the other, obviously due to the fuel controllers being out of sync as it seems to be very consistant from set to set of pictures... sorry to ruin the fun?

off to school!
