I thought the silver engine on the right looks a little bigger than the left one too. Unless it's psed. This might be .......

No, it's simply one with the AB fully open, while the other one is closed. We've already seen that on 2001 and 2002 as well.

I don't mean the saw-tooth end, but the grey band before it. As to the size of the engine faring, they must have taken that into account in the design so that the intended larger engines can be installed without the need to redesign the engine compartment or faring.

If you mean the bit that's super hard to see, I'm pretty sure that line actually indicates both nozzles have identical dimensions. Another way to argue this is if the overall length of the nozzles are the same and the length of the fairings are the same, then the section after the sawtoothng must also be the same.

The length from the saw-tooth to the end of nozzle might be the same for both engines. Still, the length of the petals looked longer, and are found to be so when actually measured. It doesn't make sense that the petals are just painted longer, reducing the width of the "band" before the saw-tooth. Such a paint scheme won't look tidy especially when the nozzle is fully contracted, thereby revealing how a section of the non-movable part was just painted silver to make the petals seem longer.

Might help this discussion along at this point to diagram where you're measuring from.

Ha! From this picture, the much discussed "blister" doesn't look like to be part of the up-swing MLG door, does it?

You can actually see the blister on the door frame when it opens here:

The bulge is for when they retract the wheels and it lies in a horizontal position like a doughnut.
But I doubt that the wheel shifts forwards when it retracts so the front part of the bulge which is not on the gear door could be used to house sensor?
