The petals of the brighter silver nozzle are longer than that of the older one. From the picture, one can see that if the new nozzle is opened fully, it will actually have a larger diameter than the fully opened older nozzle.

It actually isn't...that's just an illusion because of the black bars on the left nozzle.

Ha! From this picture, the much discussed "blister" doesn't look like to be part of the up-swing MLG door, does it?

Uhh. If you'll note more than half of the blister is on the MLG exactly where the tire would rest when retracted. On 2001/2, the entire blister is part of the door structure. As was mentioned already, the blister on 2011 is bigger than on 2001/2 and clearly extends past the door, so we suspect that they probably took advantage of an pre-existing structure to install extra hardware (most likely sensors.)

Hi everyone, I've been lurking these forums for years, thought may as well start posting :)
Interesting to note, the Boeing 6th generation concept has canards and dsi similar to J-20
