Anybody know what is the purpose of the two new blisters right behind the WVRAAM panels are for?

Bulges are used to house the landing gears when they are retracted. Also, those aren't new. They are present on 2001 and 2002.

By that pic you can see the fuselage around the engines has been trimmed. It narrows after the weapons bay. If you look at the underside of the first two prototypes, they actually look fat compared to this one.

The new prototype might have done this to better conform to area-rule?

I had hoped that those two blisters might have been designed to house some sort of electronic equipment, but all pictures so far have shown them to be hallow inside, probably because the MLG doesn't retract far enough inside the fuselage to allow a flush door.

Its one aspect of the J20 design that niggles me a little, but the asymmetric nature of the two blisters, and the two-tone makes me wonder and hope that they will put those two blisters to some use at least.

Have we seen pictures that reveal the inside of the blisters?

I suspect the forward part of the blisters probably house some kind of electronics, while most of it is hollow for the landing gear.

Yes, just go back a few pages to find the pictures of 2011 taking off and the MLG starting to retract, when that part of the door opens fully.

There are at least three such images I can remember ottomh, and together they give a pretty good composite picture that the part of the blister that is attached to the MLG door appears to be hallow.

The small part in front, which is attached to the fuselage may house something, but that part is very small, which makes me doubt it can house anything of great use. But you never know.

I'm not sure I buy the wheel housing argument. The two blisters are clearly different in shape, with the port side blister stubbier and the starboard side blister thinner and longer.

Not up for argument. We have video of 2001/2002 and the blisters. 2011's is bigger and the different material at the front suggests the also installed sensors of some sort, but the bump is at least in part for the mlg tires.

@plawolf, it seems we are in agreement.
The blisters are definitely used to store the landing gear, but we've known that quite early on.

What the pictures don't show is whether the forward section contains any electronics in the forward section and I am quite sure they do. Could simply be the antennae which don't need to be very big, while processors are deeper inside the fuselage.

The JF17 is probably still being tested by the Chinese test pilots. Even if it is active JF17 with Pakistani pilots, it won't make a difference. You can't get much out of a plane by just looking at it. For a plane as secretive as the F22, it's on display all the time. People even take in-depth pics of engines from behind or intake from the front. That doesn't mean you can find out secrets about it.
Everything's internal. You have to look at blueprints.

Actually NO!, everything is NOT internal, the single most important aspect of stealth is shaping, and the photographing of the F-22 nozzles and rear in general was strictly "Verbotten" as she went on the airshow circuit. So while the J-20 and F-22 are "trotted out" like race ponies, which are always covered in a warm up/cool down blanket, pilots and engineers are able to glean a great deal from a photo, and even more so from a close inspection and hands on.. so nice post, but the F-22 was very strictly billeted during its airshow performances for that very reason.
