moving the engines forward changes the centre of gravity substantially. Wouldn't that require large changes in the fly-by-wire software?

Regarding all these drawings and profiles and even more the fact that they all show "modifications" to the airframe I would like to know on what information do these things are based on ! Is this a result of pure speculation - even more since we have not heard and even more seen anything substantial since months ! - and expectations, are they based on reports, rumours "leaked" by some big-shrimps or has anyone even seen the new aircraft, maybe even photographed but by now is not in the position or willing to post them ??

It looks chubbier IMO. Could be a reinforce frame for the naval version perhaps?

The wing also seems to be set back some. Seems like someone copy pasted a list of structural changes made from YF22 vs F22 and did them to J20.

A shorter tail would allow a greater AOA during landing or takeoff without the tail getting too close to the ground/surface.
