And realistically speaking , Soviets most probably shoot down more American planes then they lost . On the other hand , Chinese (and North Koreans) most likely had much worse kill ratio , because of lack of training and experience with fast jets at the time .
See this is just a personal opinion, i am no prophet to see what is going to happen, but based upon time frame, in my opinion the posibility of any of these jets might fall in the hands of a potential rival will be 2025-2035.
PAKFA, J-31 and F-35 have the higher odds since they export oriented aircraft, J-20 and F-22 perhaps are less likely to have those odds.
In the case of Russia, it has been reported a new aircraft program is under way to replace MiG-31, if this bears fruit, i bet this jet only will fly on Russian air force colors, but PAKFA is basicly a SuperHornet class jet.
So this will mean PAKFA will be the main russian export in the next 20 years.
So one PAKFA might follow the path of its forebears MiG-29 and MiG-23 that were flown in the west as agressor aircraft, but who knows F-35 and J-31 might have the same problem
OT here, but - actually to be more accurate, technically, the Mig-15 is a more superior aircrafts than early models of the F-86. It was only at the introduction of the F-86F that the two aircraft are closely matched. However, the US had much better pilots as compared to the red Chinese, North Korean and probably Soviet pilots at that time... thus the higher kill ratio. I wouldn't be surprise if the result would be much better if the US pilots are flying the Mig 15 against the communist. .....
The kill ratio is still in dispute. The original kill ratio of 15-to-1 in favor of Americans have been repeatedly revised downward so many times that the American claims have lost all credibility. The Russians(most of the MiG-15 pilots were Russians) themselves claimed a 2-to-1 ratio in their favor. The real ratio is probably 1-to-1.
Guys please check out J-20 on Wikipedia.
Go and see how much prejiduice there are towards the Chinese. Especially the indians.
Today I was edditing the J-20's engine section and there is always some rats keep edditing it back, and later I got a message from someone called hucco. I click on his web page on wikipedia and he is an indian. These low life indians keep saying thing like this: " There is a belief that China is unable to come up with an engine for J-20". Then it says that China wants 117S, then right after it says: China will not be buying Su-35. Then it goes one and describe WS-15 !!
See this !! This is indian logic, lol. It never makes sense !
They will just never quit on J-20, even though their sh!t LCA can not even fly with American F-404 handed to them.
BTW, I was also very happy that J-20 had such a devastating affect on these low life indians !
I hope that they spend 20 hours a day just guarding J-20's wikipedia page. lol
First, any article on Wikipedia is the product of multiple edits from multiple authors. That paragraph in particular is a delicate compromise between people with different opinions, hence it is self contradictory.
Secondly, there isn't anything incorrect from the paragraph. Is there prejudice against China's ability to build turbofan engine? This is a yes, so the (religious) belief being referred to exists. Are there claims that China wants Su-35? Yes, because China wouldn't have to officially denied rumors regarding Su-35 purchases otherwise. Did Russians attempted to solicit China to buy 117S engine in the previous Zhuhai airshow? This is a yes as well, and China hasn't shown any interest.
Thirdly, the correct method to counter a source which you believe to be bias is to quote from a more reliable one. Blanking out the entire paragraph is a no-no, and is the reason why your edits are being reverted. For your information, links to a baidu wiki page is not considered as using a reliable source either.
