Guys, does anyone know how the locking mechanism on J-15 main landing gear strut engaged to its engine nacelle? I found a blog that shows those on F-14

Yes, I know the location of the main landing gear locking mechanism. What I want to know is how do they work (As in how do they connect to the engine nacelle/fuselage).
It is a small metal hook from the landing gear inserted into the engine nacelle, I 've seen the photo but need to search for it. Some cockpit canopy use similar hook for locking. The part on the nacelle has a mechanism to fasten the hook, But there is no detail available, my guess is there is a moving metal rod that engage and disengage the hook.

It is not correct to described it as a hook, it has a hole at the end part. May be some members with mechanical engineering background know how this works as a locking device?

The hook part is shown in red below. There are two actuators connected to it (circled in yellow) for engagement and disengagement respectively. Due to its larger size, the locking mechanism is only visible on Su-33/J-15.

So when the landing gear swing down it moves to the locking position with the connecting bar already extended, then the claw-like extension mounted on the engine nacelle uses the actuators to grasp the connecting bar, is it? Thanks for explaining. I've seen many HD photos of the landing gears but can't seem to grasp how they work before this.

I guess it's a little different from the F-14 where the connecting bar is the one moving and the part on the engine nacelle is only a little receptacle for it to hook on to, but ultimately the concept is the same.
