No, I mean that given event at the CFTE was surely (?) not related to an old J-15. As such my question is on what new tyoe it was related to ... if it ever was for a new J-15 variant.

thats because the are using WS-10 series engine and they are so confident they know it will never crash hence no ejection seat

Do you think so? That doesn't make sense to me. Take Russia - they're confident in their AL engine series. But they still equip their fighters with ejection seats. With something as complicated as a fighter jet and with pilot lives potentially at stake, there's no way you could leave out an emergency back up option like the ejection seat.
